The CSX train depot on Martin Luther King Boulevard is in danger of being demolished if we can’t move it to another location. CSX has gifted the historic station to the city but only if we can move it before they are ready to tear it down in April of 2022. 1. As a native of Hamilton I an very happy and excited to see that the station will be saved and relocated a short distance from it’s original location. It will be a fantastic addition to the thriving downtown Hamilton business district.
Thank you to the Mayor, the City Manager and City Council for having the vision to save this structure that has been a fixture in Hamilton since the 1850’s.
